Discover why so many trauma therapists are turning to the body for answers.
This session introduces the foundational principles of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), a cutting-edge modality that invites the body into the therapeutic process, not just as a source of symptoms, but as a meaningful resource for healing.
SP offers a bottom-up approach that helps clients safely access and process traumatic experiences held in the body: beyond narrative and cognition. Through sensorimotor practices that engage posture, movement, and sensation, you’ll begin to understand how the body tells its story and how to support clients in releasing what words alone cannot reach.
Whether you’re new to working with the body or looking to deepen your trauma practice, this introduction is an opportunity to explore how SP can transform the way we see and treat trauma.
