Tailored Content for SP L2 Graduates
Would you like to bring more SP into your sessions?
Are your SP skills feeling a bit rusty or have SP interventions not occurred to you in the moment?
Perhaps the ideas are there, but something is getting in the way of offering particular experiments?
If SP has taught us anything, it is that growth and lasting change come through experience. So come join Dr. Callahan for live-online two-day SP Skills Clinic for L2 graduates!

This offering will include:

  • Light review of topic areas of interest identified ahead of time by participants*
  • Demonstrations and/or video reviews
  • Small group peer practices with in-dept large group debriefing
  • Perhaps most importantly, embodiment of the SP Principles in a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to learn through experience

*Upon registration for the Skills Clinic, you will receive a link to a survey where you identify areas of focus most of interest to you and you can share with Dr. Callahan where you are getting stuck.  She will then tailor the content for the clinic to address the pervasive themes and needs identified.
If you’re a alumni of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Developmental and Relational Injury and would like to refresh your skills in SP, or have an interest in becoming a certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Practitioner, this skills clinic will be tailor made for you!
Why Sensorimotor Psychotherapy?
Trauma first and foremost leaves its imprint on the body, yet for many reasons, the body has historically been omitted from therapeutic inquiry. SP can help clients learn to draw upon the wisdom of the body to release the debilitation effects of trauma and develop somatic resources that help them engage more fully in their lives and relationships.

Both the Skills Consolidation parts of the course are online, self-directed, self-paced components which support the consolidation of knowledge and skills introduced in the two basic SP courses for trauma and developmental work to prepare the learner for certification in SP. The SCT consists of 13 basic skills units, and SCD consists of 16 basic skills units, that guide the learner from SP Foundations through Essential Skills to the Five Stages of the Process. Building on the basic information and initial practice of skills application from the L1- Trauma and L2-Developmental trainings, the student will see new presentations from Pat Ogden and other SPI Faculty, review clinical application video content, participate in small group discussions, and complete self-directed learning activities using interactive media and provided worksheets to consolidate past learning and refine existing skills for Certification in SP.   Learn More and Apply Today >
