We've all had experiences of navigating circumstances that have left us feeling distressed, overwhelmed, or even broken. Whatever you may be dealing with, I’d like to remind you that you don’t have to do it alone. I view counselling as a collaboration where we can work together to help you feel empowered in leveraging your own strengths and resources. I'm interested in really getting to know who you are - to build a real relationship together where you can feel heard, validated, and supported in navigating your inner and outer experiences.
Foremost, my work is trauma-informed. I strive to help create a sense of safety for individuals in order for healing to occur. As a trauma-survivor myself, I know what it’s like to feel broken or incomplete, but I also know what it's like to be on a healing path. My work is also holistic, considering the multitude of factors that contribute to who you are, and where you are in your life.
My lived experiences have both led me and lent themselves to my work, and I feel privileged and grateful to be able to do work in which I can connect with others and offer guidance in their healing. I invite you to reach out if you feel called to - I would be honoured to join you in your journey.
