Maggie offers counselling, SP psychotherapy, small meditation groups and a somatic body work of her own devising called Mutti.

She has been teaching meditation and Buddhist philosophy for 16 years. She runs small meditation groups in her home town of Pottsville but has previously taught in many locations all over the Northern Rivers.

Her teaching and counselling style has always been body focused. In Buddhism that felt sense of the body is called vedanā and holds a lot of wisdom that we can draw upon.

Sensorimotor psychotherapy training has been a great fit for Maggie, increased her understanding of the role of the body and how it holds trauma that it then finds hard to let go of. How body memory can hold a person in defensive patterns and how tuning into the body and other aspects of our precious human organism’s way of being can liberate us from the prisons that keep us stuck.

Sessions are provided with a lot of love and care. Allowing space for growth, freedom and letting go.
