My work focuses on developing a felt sense of safety in the here and now, by developing inner resources, regulating autonomic nervous system activation, and learning to find self-compassion for the parts of ourselves that might be feeling 'stuck' in old patterns and continuing to use once adaptive strategies that just don't quite fit with present day conditions. Healing is about feeling empowered in the present, connecting with your whole self, and being curious about what the body needs.
