Emotional healing is a transformation of your relationship with yourself and can be an incredible experience. Therapy is an avenue that allows us to begin to map out the possibilities by making sense of symptoms and understanding why you feel the way you do. Understanding ourselves, our thinking, behaving and feeling, enables us to have more power and choice. Therapy is a personalized collaboration, a partnership of hope, inspiration and safety.
I rely upon interpersonal skills from my own journey to inform the work I do. I focus primarily on neuroscience to process the body’s responses to triggers that may be related to histories of trauma. Using Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, I help the body process trauma that continues to live in the body and may contribute to other complications such as chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and attachment insecurities. Often these symptoms manifest in relationships and can infiltrate many aspects of our lives.
