Clara is a registered associate counselor committed to embodied living and healing through art, movement, and somatic exploration. With a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach, Clara co-creates therapeutic spaces where clients explore the inner world, connect with their bodies, and unveil bodily wisdom. Clara's approach mirrors life's unfolding intricacies—believing that transformation arises when we attend to subtle layers of experience.
Clara integrates their work with True Wheel, an innovative Wheel Therapy Program combining adventure and nature-based practices. Bicycles, skates, ceramics, and movement serve as dynamic touchpoints in therapy, encouraging clients to explore with curiosity. Clara offers counseling services through Northwest Discovery and Treehouse Therapies.
Clara holds a BA in Sociology with minors in Sculpture, Dance, and Psychology from Purchase College, SUNY, and from Prescott College, received an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and EdS in Experiential Counseling. Clara is a certified Wilderness First Responder, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy 1, and learns conflict mediation and neuroscience through continued education. Clara's therapy invites engagement with the body, community, and nature, supporting each person's path toward coherence, resilience, and well-being.
When not working, Clara explores being, the ever-evolving interplay of art, movement, and presence in the company of loved ones and self.
