My name is Diana Waddell, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than ten years of experience in trauma treatment and supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and recovery. I specialize in treating individuals with PTSD, complex trauma, and those who are navigating the complexities of psychological trauma. I have a deep understanding of the impact trauma has on the body and mind, which has led me to embrace Sensorimotor Psychotherapy as a foundational approach in my practice. My practice is grounded in the belief that healing from trauma requires a holistic approach that attends to both the body and the mind. I understand trauma as an embodied experience, not just something that happens to us on a cognitive level. Because of this, I integrate Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to help individuals process and release trauma held in the body. This gentle, body-centered approach respects your pace, allowing the body to become an ally in healing. I approach therapy with compassion, non-judgment, and deep respect for each person’s individual journey. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where you can explore your experiences and connect with your innate ability to heal. Together, we will work to cultivate self-awareness, foster resilience, and empower you to reclaim your life from the shadows of trauma. If you are seeking a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist who integrates body and mind, I invite you to reach out.
