I bring more than twenty years of experience working with clients who have experienced trauma and developmental wounding. I have worked in private practice with individual adults since 2008. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, the Structural Dissociation model, and EMDR are my guiding models. I am very interested in the ways in which these models work together and alongside one another.
As a consultant and a therapist, I work to bring compassion, collaboration, and curiosity. I am a therapist who has always needed to know things deep in my bones before I can authentically bring them to my clients. I am committed to helping students know SP in that same deep way so that they can integrate their learning and practice with more ease and authenticity. My goal as a consultant is to match clear clinical theory and knowledge with space to let that knowledge land and grow from the bottom up.
In my consulting and therapy work, I am committed to an ongoing examination of the intersections of identity, race, gender, sexuality, religion, and culture. I am interested in the ways these areas intersect with our clients and with SP theory and practice. In all of my work, this exploration is needed and welcomed.
