Life can be chaotic and full of unexpected change! Many clients are unaware that their nervous system is overwhelmed and unregulated, which can cause symptoms such as fatigue, poor sleep, hyper-vigilance and anxiety. As a somatic (body-informed) therapist, I understand how the body can hold emotions, trauma or defensiveness, which can change how people function and show up in the world. As a result, you may feel angry, stressed out, distracted or ambivalent. My work as a Firefighter and Paramedic for over 10 years, allowed me to experience and observe how highly adaptable the human body is at processing traumatic events.

I specialize in helping improve nervous system functioning, which may differ from traditional talk therapy. I prefer to spend time identifying the problem and the client's goals, followed by generating a road map to restore balance for recovery. The sessions include evidence based practices such as CBT and Somatic Therapy, guided by the client's commitment.

I am compassionate for each person's unique strengths and appreciate collaborating to support clients with managing life's stressors. If you need guidance because trauma or crises are affecting your life, I would be honored to work with you. I support adolescents, adults, couples and families, with a passion for supporting first responders and military.
