I'm a white, queer and trans settler, and I've been practicing social work and psychotherapy since 2016.
I currently work with individuals age 18 and older. My practice is completely virtual, and open to clients living anywhere in Ontario.
For the past two decades I've worked alongside other queer and trans folks as an artist, workshop facilitator, mentor, coordinator, and counsellor. My current focus is on providing long-term psychotherapy in the areas of trauma and attachment. I particularly appreciate working with other trans people on these issues, though I welcome clients of all identities who value anti-oppression and liberation for all.
My aim is to support each client's movement toward their own sense of greater wholeness and integrity. I'm trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment, which are trauma-informed, mindfulness-based approaches to psychotherapy. These approaches centre present-moment experience and see the body as key sources of information and of transformation.
If you are curious about these approaches and working with me, I welcome you to reach out. I look forward to connecting with you!
