I work with adult clients utilizing a combination of sensorimotor psychotherapy, art therapy, EMDR, and traditional talk therapy. I tend towards an integrative experiential approach, though also tailor the modality to what clients need. Clients I often work with are analytical, anxious, high performing, and self-critical. My background is in working with trauma, attachment/relational work, with LGBTQ+ adults, transpersonal integration, personal growth/expansion, addictive processes/addiction, and making sense of intersectional identities/marginalized experiences. I identify as a queer therapist myself, though work with individuals of all identities. I also am invested in my own personal somatic meditation practice which informs my understanding of sensorimotor/mindfulness. I am invested in supporting clients in both processing adaptive stuck patterns/trauma and also learning to expand into new learning/capacity/growth areas.
