I am a psychodynamically oriented clinical psychologist with a training in various psychotherapy modalities over the past twenty-five years. I see Sensorimotor Psychotherapy as the missing piece in my work as a therapist, and I am grateful that I can offer this wealth of knowledge and wisdom to my clients. Currently in full-time private practice, I worked in various clinical settings, including community mental health, private practice, corrections, university counseling center and psychosocial support program for earthquake survivors. In addition to my clinical psychology degree, I completed the Community Psychology Track in my doctoral program, and worked at various capacities, including as a program director and supervisor, in various community projects for underserved populations, including refugees, survivors of torture, earthquake survivors, rural communities in North Carolina, and children who are orphaned in Kenya and in Haiti.
