I believe that every person holds the capacity to heal, and the inner wisdom on how to do so. In our sessions, I aim to provide a compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based therapeutic environment where you can explore your concerns with curiosity and self-compassion, reconnect to that inner wisdom, and work towards a deeper sense of safety, connection, and healing.
I work with adults of all ages and identities, most commonly women and young adults experiencing challenges related to life transitions, anxiety, stress, grief, childhood and relational trauma, or sexual trauma. Many of my clients may identify as highly sensitive people, and struggle with people-pleasing, perfectionism, shame, and burnout.
With an understanding of how past experiences inform present functioning, my approach is informed by attachment theory, neurobiology, and the connection between the mind and body. Our sessions may include mindfulness and somatic practices to understand how your unique nervous system has developed adaptive strategies to keep you safe and navigate the world, while gently identifying and transforming patterns that may be leaving you stuck and disconnected.
