Carolyn's therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, relational, and collaborative, drawing from a variety of treatment modalities depending on each client’s unique experiences and goals. She specializes in trauma, anxiety, stress, grief/loss, life transitions, and adjustment-related concerns. She integrates somatically-oriented frameworks into her therapeutic work, drawing from an understanding of attachment relationships, neuroscience, and the importance of the mind/body in mental and emotional wellbeing.
Carolyn believes that every individual holds the capacity to heal, and the inner wisdom on how to do so. She aims to co-create a compassionate, strength-based therapeutic environment where individuals feel safe to explore their areas of concern with curiosity and self-compassion, reconnect to their inner wisdom, and work towards healing and connection.
