Our minds and bodies do anything they can to help us cope with pain, anxiety, and loss. How we attempt to manage our hurt impacts our connection with ourselves, others, and life in general. We cope in ways such as being disconnected from our body to avoid feeling, becoming overly angry when we feel disrespected, or maybe even isolating ourselves out of fear of being rejected. Therapy is trauma-informed and attachment-based with a focus on strengthening our body-mind connection. The goal is to process emotional wounds, change unwanted behaviors, and feel better in our mind and body. I genuinely believe your story matters, and I think therapy is a great way to achieve a healthier life.
