I work with clients struggling with issues related to trauma - both developmental trauma and betrayal trauma. Blocks to living life to the fullest can result in anxiety, depression, low self esteem, and relationship difficulties, or addiction. Betrayal trauma can be crippling in destabilizing distress, fear, and dysregulation. I work from an attachment frame, exploring internal conflicts and pain through sensorimotor awareness, self-compassion, parts work of Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment TIST (Janina Fisher), and mindfulness. As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist I also work with folks that are dealing with compulsive sexual behaviors and pornography addiction.
I see couples navigating relationship distress, infidelity, and rebuilding trust in the process of sexual addiction recovery.
