Welcome! My name is Faisa and I'm so glad you're here. Whether you are experiencing concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges or difficulty adjusting to life transitions, I’m here to help. I can also support you with concerns related to perinatal mental health or parenting. My role involves helping you feel connected, safer and supported while aiming to meet your therapeutic goals. I offer a non-judgmental and collaborative space for you to explore your presenting concerns and reconnect with your strengths. My hope is that our work together will help you better understand and process the needs for which you are seeking support.

My practice is focused on developing a therapeutic alliance while engaging individuals in attachment-based, trauma-informed therapy. I integrate concepts from different modalities including EMDR, somatic, psychodynamic, and interpersonal therapies as well as intersectional feminist and anti-oppressive practice principles.

I came into this work from a personal place of wanting to better understand myself by exploring the pivotal, and often difficult, experiences that have shaped me. I apply this same curiosity and care to my work as a therapist by offering a supportive space for you to explore your presenting concerns and reconnect with your strengths. I’m passionate about helping people better understand themselves, others, and the world around them so that they can live a more connected and fulfilling life.
