I am a certified sensorimotor psychotherapist and consultant as well as a mindfulness/yoga practitioner. I have worked as a therapist for over 30 years.
The foundation of my approach is eclectic and includes body-centered psychotherapy, psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy. I have taught counseling/psychotherapy and group work both at the college and university level, supervised psychotherapy students as well as assisted in sensorimotor training programs.
I trained as an occupational therapist in the early 1980’s before obtaining a Master’s degree in Adult Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto in the early ’90s. I am a clinical member of the Ontario Society of Psychotherapists and a past board member of the aforementioned society.
I am also a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. (registration #003623) I have gathered valuable experience working with groups, couples, and individuals in hospitals, community health clinics as well as in private practice.
I continue to enjoy and thrive in my current private online work. I feel honoured to be able to assist clients to reach their own personal vision that will bring them towards wholeness in their lives.
