Based in NYC, I currently see clients virtually in NY, NJ and PA. I help adults manage anxiety, form more secure connected relationships and generally live more authentically.
As an art therapist for the past 18 years, I have intuitively always felt that words are not enough. To experience real change the body must be included.
Through paying attention to the mind-body connection we can work together to help you more fully connect to your body experience and the beliefs and thoughts that go with it. By mindfully paying attention to feelings and sensations in the body, you can begin to integrate change in a more full way, where it is felt and experienced, not just cognitively known.
It's my privilege to walk along side you on your journey to live more authentically. I believe almost all behaviors were at one point a coping strategy, so I will help you cultivate compassion and curiosity toward how you view yourself and the aspects of your life you want to change.
Using a mix of approaches, including Art Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Internal Family Systems, I would be glad to support you on your journey to embrace who you are and live more expansively and fully.
