Whether endured as a child or as an adult, trauma negatively impacts the way we interact with the world. Anxiety, depression, intrusive memories, and physical ailments take a toll on relationships, impede occupational functioning, and reduce overall quality of life.
While healing can be a difficult journey, it is less overwhelming when someone comes alongside you to help find answers and to guide you through a process that can otherwise feel difficult and confusing. I will provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere as we work together to move you towards the life you want to live.
Together, we reduce painful symptoms experienced in the mind and body from unresolved grief and trauma that oftentimes drains our ability to fully engage in the world around us. I am certified in Trauma Informed Stabilization treatment, have extensive experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and have completed Level 1 Trauma Themes in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. You will learn to tolerate distress, regulate overwhelming emotions and sensations, and resolve wounds from the past that result in unstable relationships and impulsive behaviors. Together we work to pursue healing of mind and body
