Kathrine is a Registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Kathrine is passionate about helping both men and women who struggle with emotional regulation. Her in-depth clinical knowledge and personal experience make Kathrine an expert coregulator who is warm and nonjudgemental.
Kathrine’s interests in a holistic approached has led to further training of therapeutic modalities. Incorporating the mind and the body. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for trauma themes, Expressive Therapies and Yoga teacher training (2025) to name a few.
Kathrine is also a Circle of Security Facilitator, a relationship-based parenting program and trained in Marshall B. Rosenberg’s framework of Non-Violent communication. These trainings underpin the values of all that Kathrine does.
Kathrine is constantly learning and growing to bring more to the therapeutic space and serve her clients better.
Kathrine has dedicated the last 20 years of her life, advocating for the right of both emotional and physical safety for women, young people and children. Kathrine's Career has included work in the child protection, Domestic and Family Violence & Sexual Assault Sector as well as recovery form violent crime.
Katrine encourages a 30 min discovery call when starting with new clients, to see if client/therapist is a good fit.
