Details

I am a White, cis, 3rd generation settler woman, currently living in Port Moody, BC, the traditional and unceded territories of the Kwikwetlem First Nations. My experience ranges from mental health treatment, supportive housing, outreach, detox and counselling sites. I am currently working in private practice, as well as being the clinical counsellor on and Early Psychosis Intervention team in BC. As a counsellor, I aim to create a warm, therapeutic environment to work collaboratively on what is personally meaningful to you. I take a holistic approach to counselling by including attention to mental, emotional, physical and spiritual domains. Counselling with me involves a focus on your lived experience combined with education, with acknowledgment of your intersectional identities as well as context in which you are living. I offer holistic counselling to adults and youth, as well as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy sessions for safety and stabilization, understanding and awareness of trauma's impact on your life, development of resources and processing single traumas.
