Hi, I'm Maribel Robles, LMFT, founder of Hermanas Wholistic Counseling. Trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Levels 1 and 2, I help clients who feel stuck or disconnected from themselves find their way back home through body-centered healing.
My approach honors the wisdom our bodies hold and how physical sensations connect to our emotional and spiritual experiences. When we feel unlike ourselves, there's often a disconnection between what our bodies know and what our minds are processing. Through gentle exploration of bodily experiences—tension, numbness, impulses to move or withdraw—we access healing that talk therapy alone sometimes cannot reach.
I create sacred spaces that weave together SP techniques with respect for your cultural identity and spiritual beliefs. As a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish), I understand the unique challenges of navigating cultural transitions and living between worlds.
I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults, mother-daughter relationships, and trauma recovery. As a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional and Mental Health and Nutrition Clinical Specialist, I consider the whole person in supporting wellness.
In sessions, I teach practical techniques—breathing practices, grounding exercises, nervous system regulation—that you can use independently. I emphasize psychoeducation and skill-building, empowering you in your own healing journey.
