I'm a contemporary psychoanalyst and Licensed Marriage and Family therapist in private praxis for 30 + years. I offer trauma-informed treatment tailored to the people I work with, primarily adults (from young to old) and older teens, incorporating aspects of relational, psychodynamic, sensorimotor and parts-oriented approaches.

I have many years of experience in clinical work, supervision/consultation and teaching, and am the author of several publications. I am a Training and Supervising Analyst at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis (ICP) and Newport Psychoanalytic Institute (NPI), and past Director of Trauma Training at Rose City Counseling Center in Pasadena.

My overall approach is one of embodied, trauma-informed and depth-oriented treatment, particularly suited for attachment- and other relational trauma and its sequelae (anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders, self-harm, suicidality, relationship difficulties, so-called "personality disorders", anger issues.)
