Skye Horner, LMSW is a dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker in Maryland and D.C., committed to creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth. She earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, where she was a HRSA BHWISE fellow working to integrate behavioral health into primary care and expand access to mental and physical healthcare. With over a decade of clinical experience, Skye has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults from diverse backgrounds.
Grounded in relationship and the wisdom of the body, Skye’s clinical work draws heavily from sensorimotor-based practices while integrating approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. Skye takes a relational, person centered approach to care emphasizing the healing power of connection and authenticity. Skye uses an eclectic style, tailoring the applicable parts of these methods to each client’s individual needs to create a personalized therapeutic experience.
She emphasizes the power of the therapeutic relationship and honors each client’s unique journey, meeting people where they are—not where the world expects them to be. Skye supports individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, and neurodiversity. The cornerstones of her practice include cultivating radical self-love, building confidence, and finding growth in the healing process.
